Since completing my teacher training in 2013, I have seen yoga contribute significantly to my clients’ mental health. Yoga is a wonderful practice to incorporate into your wellness routine and provides a host of benefits. First and foremost, yoga promotes relaxation and stress reduction. Through its combination of gentle movements, deep breathing, and mindfulness, it helps calm the nervous system and lower stress hormones like cortisol. This relaxation response not only eases the body but also the mind, reducing feelings of anxiety and tension.

Many people find that practicing yoga regularly improves their mood and helps them manage symptoms of conditions like depression and anxiety.
